My name is Martin Drohmann.
I help leaders of technology companies find and overcome the obstacles that prevent their teams from achieving their full potential.
Most of the understanding and experience I have about team dynamics and optimizing performance comes from spending years inside dysfunctional technology teams. Teams with brilliant individuals where the potential was blocked by an obstacle that was either invisible or not able to be resolved.
I have studied mathematics to a PhD level, which is something I use in my work. Mathematics is the art of telling stories that you cannot deny. I know how to leverage this mindset to identify the obstacles behind stalled execution, and show it to everyone.
I have spent 13 years in the software industry, building abstract technical solutions and trying to connect them to stories that people actually want to buy, under ever-changing circumstances. I have seen leaders burn out under pressure, I have witnessed stalled production, I have seen how a lack of clear and focused goals creates serious problems.
I live in an intentional community and have learned what is possible when people are really committed to working together. And that commitment requires embracing conflicts and setting ego aside.
I have also learned from my three wonderful children, who outshine everyone I know in emotional competence, to know that I have to listen to my heart to make good decisions.
When teams are functioning at their full potential, everything becomes easier. Goals are reached. Conflict is resolved. And the overall production of an organization can grow.
